Overview
The DVP-8000N series digital protection and monitoring device primarily monitors and protects primary equipment operating at voltages ranging from 0.4kV to 110kV. As an intelligent device that integrates protection, measurement, control, and communication functions, it is mainly suitable for the protection and monitoring of power plants, substations, and auxiliary power systems in industrial and mining enterprises. This series of products can not only be panel-mounted but also locally installed in switchgear cabinets.
Product Features:
The equipment enclosure adopts a fully enclosed design, separating strong and weak electrical currents. At the same time, the highly reliable hardware and software redundancy design make the equipment have strong anti-interference performance.
2. The equipment adopts a plug-in structure, where each plug-in module performs a specific function, allowing the equipment to be flexibly configured to meet various engineering requirements.
3. The LCD display can switch between Chinese and English, with fully menu-driven operation and continuous decimal setting. The standard for the LCD is 320*240 dot matrix, which can display real-time AC simulation waveforms and main wiring diagrams.
4. The transmission test function can be executed to inspect the outlet circuit link. The local/remote switch and the on/off buttons on the panel allow for manual control of the switch directly on the device.
5. Perfect software and hardware self-checking function. If any abnormality is detected, the exit will be locked, an alarm signal will be displayed, and the fault content will be indicated.
6. This device can display various protection and measurement parameters, such as current, voltage, active power, reactive power, power factor, switch status, 2nd to 23rd harmonic measurements, and total harmonic distortion (THD).
7. High-reliability and high-capacity FLASH memory is used for permanently storing a large number of fault events and operation records, as well as storing the data of the 10 most recent fault records, with each record lasting from 4 to 10 seconds. The recorded data can be displayed on a monitor or exported to a USB flash drive. The fault waveform can be displayed through computer software Excel, which facilitates fault analysis.
8. The communication network employs dual Ethernet and dual RS485 interfaces. Many devices are connected to the host computer or communication management machine to form a communication network, enabling centralized control of the system and achieving functions such as remote sensing, remote control, remote management, and remote signaling, as well as the "four remotes" function. It supports communication protocols such as the power industry standard DL/T667-1999 (IEC60870-5-103).
9. All protection functions (including non-electrical protection) can be manually selected for deactivation, and there are soft belts for both use and stoppage. All usernames can be redefined according to the drawings.
10. The device is equipped with a USB interface, allowing for self-updating of programs. Additionally, it can export device parameters, protection settings, SOE events, operation records, device information tables, and fault record data via a USB flash drive. The exported data can be modified in terms of device parameters and protection settings, and then imported back into the device via the USB flash drive. This eliminates the need to enter menu settings for each device, significantly reducing the workload.
11. The device features multiple functional modules, including input/output expansion, operation circuits, DC analog input, 4~20mA DC analog output, temperature resistance measurement, etc. It can be configured into protection and monitoring devices with various functions to meet the needs of multiple industries.

Insulation performance:

Using a 500V megohmmeter, measure the insulation resistance values between the live and non-live parts of the device, as well as between the enclosure and any non-contact areas of the electrical circuit.
