Project Name: Inner Mongolia XX Company Power Grid Stability Control System
Project cycle: started in July 2014 and ended in December 2014.
Project background: A chemical company in Inner Mongolia has a normal production electricity load of 29MW. Among them, 25MW is supplied by the internal generator of the system, and the remaining approximately 4 MW is supplied from the external grid. When the external power supply is interrupted, there will be a 4MW power supply gap, and the frequency and voltage of the power grid will seriously decrease, causing significant economic losses. Initiate this project to address this issue.
    Project scope:
    1) In plant power grid analysis and control strategy simulation
    2) Building a secure and stable control system
    Project achievements:
    1) Use ETAP computer simulation calculation technology to model and analyze the system. The system model includes static and dynamic models. The static model includes the power source, generation, load, and all connected devices of the power grid. The dynamic model includes generator model, generator power system and speed control system model, generator voltage control and excitation system model, as well as the motor and mechanical load model of the main electric motor. The fixed values of various protection devices such as current, voltage, power, frequency, etc. for rapid action and delay are also included in the dynamic model.
    2) Construct a set of stable control system, including the 110kV control main station of 301 Institute, the load collection station of 10kV201 Institute, the load collection station of 10kV302 Institute, the load collection station of 10kV303 Institute, the load control substation of 10kV304 Institute, the construction and installation of stable control cabinet, and cable wiring.
