According to " Technical Requirements on Wind Farm Power System Integration" (GB / T 19963-2011), “Technical Requirements on Connecting Photovoltaic Farms to Power System” (GB / T 19964-2012), “Technical Requirements on Connecting Wind Farm to Grid” and “Technical Requirements on Connecting Photovoltaic Farms to Grid” by the State Grid Corporation of China, wind / photovoltaic power plants are required to be equipped with active power control systems to receive and automatically implement orders on active power and of active power change that are send from dispatching department afar. It is required that power plants shall automatically adjust its power output based on grid frequency value and orders given by dispatching department to ensure that the maximum output power and the power change rate shall not exceed the set value of dispatching department, so that the stability of power system will be guaranteed in case of grid failure and special mode of operation.
APCS-1000 active power control system can be applied to control the active power of wind / photovoltaic power plant, to realize communication with various types of smart communication systems such as master station system, AGC / AVC system, integrated automation system, to complete data communication and data processing, to forwarded active power adjustment orders, to give early warning and alarm, to cut wire and reduce output, to put into operation or withdraw pressure board, and to realize background monitoring.
