Along with the development of a great number of renewable power generation projects in China, wind and photovoltaic plants are rapidly constructed in various areas. Due to the characteristics of wind and photovoltaic power stations, there is always a large distance between the wind generator on wind farm (or the photovoltaic panels on photovoltaic stations) and the step-up substation. In order to reduce the power loss during the transmission process, 35kV (or 10kV) box type step-up transformer (hereinafter referred to as the box type transformer) needs to be installed on site to first boost the voltage of the output energy, and then transmit the electricity to step-up station for sending to the main grid.
At present, wind / photovoltaic power plants in China and foreign countries are all designed with the operation management principle of “less people on duty”. The centralized control room of the plant is usually set at the step-up station side. HV microcomputer protection and measurement devices will be integrated to form comprehensive automation system of the step-up station (hereinafter referred to as the step-up station comprehensive automation system), thus "remote communication, telemetry, remote control, remote adjustment functions of the step-up station will be realized t through remote dispatching.
Since box type transformers are always far from the centralized control room and dispersely set, for a long time, it has been difficult for the comprehensive automation system to realize monitoring and control of the box type transformers, thus the box type transformer system is left to be an isolated island of information and blind area of monitoring in the stations. As the first step of wind / photovoltaic power transformation, it is imperative to realize remote management of the above mentioned information and automatic monitoring for the box type transformers, to meet the requirements of the operation management style of “fewer people on duty".
In view of the status quo, Agent Devote has developed the ADVP-8181F/G series smart microcomputer box-type transformer measurement and control device for wind/photovoltaic farm. The ADVP-8181F/G series of products can collect all the information on the LV side of box type transformer for wind / photovoltaic power generation, realized functions of non-electricity quantity protection, remote control and communication, to solve the above problems.
The ADVP-8181F/G series includes:
1. DVP-8181F smart microcomputer box type transformer measurement and control device for wind farm, which can be applied at the low voltage side of box type transformer on wind farm to realize remote management and automatic monitoring on all information.
2. ADVP-8181G smart microcomputer box type transformer measurement and control device for photovoltaic station, which can be applied at low voltage side of box type transformer on photovoltaic station to realize remote management and automatic monitoring on all information.
3. ADVP-8181GC smart microcomputer box type transformer measurement and control device for photovoltaic farm, which is developed based on ADVP-8181G but with additional function of communication management. It can be used at the low voltage side of box type transformer on photovoltaic station to realize remote management and automatic monitoring on all information, and to acquire directly data of related devices like inverter, and send the data to the comprehensive automation system of the monitoring background in the main control room after data processing. The communication board consists of 8 serial ports for acquiring of data of smart devices.
