Transformer On-line Monitoring System

      AT8900 series transformer on-line monitoring system is composed by dissolved gas- in-the-oil analysis unit, water content in transformer oil detection unit, transformer partial discharge monitoring unit, iron core grounding current monitoring unit, and on-load tap-switcher control and monitoring unit, fiber temperature monitoring unit for transformer windings, and other basic units. All the units could be used independently or combined with others as a set; and can be connected with back-end systems through IEC61850 communication protocol. The powerful smart analysis software at back-end can provide overrun alarm, historical data query, future trend analysis and other functions, thus providing effective basis for customers to implement transformer condition based maintenance (CBM). According to rules stated in ‘State Grid Corporation of China Infrastructure Construction [2011] No. 58’, from 2011, transformer condition monitoring equipment must be installed for newly built substations above 110kV. Substation upgrading and expansion projects can also refer to the above regulations. "GBT-7252 Analysis and Judgment Guide for Gas in Transformer Oil " has given analysis and specifications for 7 kinds of characteristics of the gas under transformer failure.
